Advent 2025

The Church of England’s Advent and Christmas theme for 2025 revolves round a single word: Joy!

Our churches and cathedrals will - as always - be seeking to make the most of the opportunity December brings to share The Joy of Christmas with their communities.

The great joy of Christmas, of course, is the good news the angel declared to the shepherds - the news of Jesus’ birth as Emmanuel (God With Us).

Here at St Peter and St John's we wish you a warm welcome to any of our services throughout this advent period

30th November - 10:30am - Advent 1

7th December - 10:30am - Advent 2 with Bishop of Norwich

14th December - 10:30am - Advent 3 with Rev Gemma
14th December - 4pm - Christingle Service

16th December - 7pm - Traditional Carol Service

21st December - 10:30am - Advent 4 with Bishop of Thetford

24th December - 5pm - Crib Service
24th December - 6:30pm - First Communion of Christmas

All Are Welcome

Every body is welcome at all of our services. We are a truly inclusive church and pride ourselves on having our doors open to all. Whether you are a seasoned church goer or only come at christmas time, may we offer you a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere.

Children are especially welcome and we have a range of activities they are able to participate in as we appreaciate they can get curious and want to have a look around.
